Damn it. It's hard not to feel this. The way I feel about you, I wish I could turn it off. It's a terrible thing. It's also very beautiful. It's these two things that extend to both ends of the spectrum. One end, the not-nice end, it leads to a very nasty future. The other one, oh my, I can only dream of it.

For some strange reason I cannot let go of you. And it's tearing me apart. I am definitely going bat-shit insane. I want it to stop, I don't want it stop.

I want you. I think I even love you. Damn it all to hell if this goes south.

Life Story

I was thinking about it and I realized, if anything horrible were to happen to me (again), I think I'd just say, "Story of my life." Then go about my life again.

Hmm.

Developments!

Ignore the previous post, I FOUND GUARDIANS 10!!!!! Oh happy day.

The :D Playlist

In my Ipod, my wonderful, sometimes-malfunctioning Ipod, I have a playlist. The title of which is ":D". Why? Supposedly, this playlist contains my favorite songs. These are the songs that I would listen to above every other song in my Ipod, when it's all said and done. I've analyzed and scrutinized the meaning of the :D playlist and I think, at this point of time, that these really are my favorite songs. Of course, I've changed the contents in the past. And I will change them again eventually. For now, let us take a closer look at the current list and discover what each of them means to me.

And oh my lord did I really write that last paragraph??

(Playcount order, in reverse)

15. (Tie) 221 times played each

A. The Way I Was - Maroon 5

My Take: I think I wrote about the lyrics already once before so I won't try and rehash it. I like the song. It's my favorite song off of the album. It's a bonus song and I'm glad they included it. I like how it starts, it comes in with a crash and the song just stays strong through it all.

Favorite Lyric: "Making love to a picture frame one more time tonight."
(Get past the really creepy image and you got yourself a line that's both melancholic in substance but peppy in delivery.)

B. Always Be My Baby - David Cook

My Take: Quite possibly the greatest song to ever come out of American Idol ever. For one whole summer, this was THE song. Patrick and I used to sing this all the time. In the caf, the conyo bench, walking around, in the car, at magis..."Welcome back David Cook." What bothers me about this song though? The fact that his back-up vocals are female. Am I the only one who finds that weird?

Favorite Lyric: "We will lingerrrrr ooonnnn!!!"

14. Ever After - Bonnie Bailey (223 times played)

My Take: I got brainwashed, what else can I say? This song should've only lasted the week that I listened to it like 160+ straight times. But hey, for some reason, I love it. It's long as hell but it's catchy. Cheers.

Favorite Lyric: Don't have one. Hmm.

13. Before It's Too Late (Sam and Mikaela's Theme) - Goo Goo Dolls (226 times played)

My Take: One of my favorite movies ever needs a song to go with it. Here it is. It's another ballad that tries to capture the magic of 'Iris' but fails to do so. It's still pretty good though.

Favorite Lyric: "So stand on the edge with me, hold back your fear and see, nothing is real til it's gone."

12. Follow Through - Gavin DeGraw (235 times played)

My Take: Gavin DeGraw, I will always call you underrated. And I like that you aren't as popular as people think you are. Sure they know about "I Don't Want to Be." But that's more because of One Tree Hill. I think this song is better than that though. It's powerful but not too much. It tells you a story, a story that anybody can relate to. Songs that do that are aces in my book.

Favorite Lyric: "So, since you want to be with me, you'll have to follow through with every word you say. And I, all I really want is you."
(If you know the song, you'll notice I kind cut the end of the line there. But hey, read it again. Doesn't that sound pretty cool?)

11. Inconsolable - Backstreet Boys (239 times played)

My Take: I have to admit, I wasn't sold on this song at first. But after repeated listenings...it grew on me. Another thing I have to admit, I think this song makes it on to a Top 5 BSB songs list. I really do. It's haunting and beautiful and just strangely alluring. You can hear the maturity in their music. I'll get a lot of flak for this but I'll stand by it. This is a great song.

Favorite Lyric: "Coz baby! I don't want to waste another day, keeping it inside is killing me coz all I ever wanted comes right down to you."

10. Signal Fire - Snow Patrol (251 times played)

My Take: Another song that I've written about in the past. What else is there to say? It's a great song. It came with a horrible (*sheds a tear for Spider-Man 3*) movie but it almost made up for it. I know it helped me through that summer.

Favorite Lyric: "The perfect words never crossed my mind coz there was nothing in there but you."
(Admit it, that's pretty awesome.)

9. The Mixed Tape - Jack's Mannequin (259 times played)

My Take: For no other reasons but because it was on One Tree Hill and because the whole song just kicks ass.

Favorite Lyric: Can't pick one because there isn't a really a strong lyric by itself in this song. You appreciate the whole song.

8. Wait For You - Elliott Yamin (260 times played)

My Take: Senti. Sad. Emo. Confessions of undying love. Of course this is a Jeri song. Haha.

Favorite Lyric: There are too many to choose from haha.

7. Because of You - Ne-Yo (277 times played)

My Take: I dance to this song in my room. Yes, dancing Jeri. For those who don't know, I was dance club in the grade school from grades 3 to 5. Yes, gay Jeri. Back to the song okay? Lyrics are catchy, the beat gets you going and the message, well, I kinda like it.

Favorite Lyric: "I try and try but my obsession won't let me leave."

6. For Blue Skies - Strays Don't Sleep (292 times played)

My Take: Sad. The saddest song I know. Yet, the feeling I'm left with after the song plays, everytime without fail? Hope. Also, this was used in a pivotal moment on One Tree Hill.

Favorite Lyric: I don't think I want to have a favorite lyric from a really sad song haha.

5. I Want It That Way - Backstreet Boys (306 times played)

My Take: This is only 5th on the number-of-times played list but that's because we aren't couting the uncountable number times I've listened to this song over the years. Hands down my favorite song ever. The greatest Backstreet Boys song ever. Period. You cannot be a fan if you don't think this is their best song ever.

Favorite Lyric: The whole frakking song. But if I must: "You are, you are, you are, you are! Don't want to hear you!"

4. Let Me Love You - Mario (324 times played)

My Take: Listen to this song. Isn't this the song that should be the lead single off of the soundtrack to my life? Haha.

Favorite Lyric: "You should let me love you, let me be the one to give you everything you want and need."

3. Stolen - Dashboard Confessional (327 times played)

My Take: Doesn't this song apply to me like 5 times every year? Haha. I have 3 different versions of this song. This version is the regular one, not the one they used as the single. This one's slower than that. It's kinda sadder. Also more awesome.

Favorite Lyric: "You have stolen my heart."
(Duh.)

2. As Lovers Go - Dashboard Confessional (362 times played)

My Take: Okay so now we all know that I'm a fan of Dashboard Confessional. I think we all knew that. Kinda like Let Me Love You in its message. Very upbeat. I find that this song is the one song that is unlike the rest of their offerings. That's a good thing.

Favorite Lyric: "I'll be true, I'll be useful, I'll be cavalier, I'll be yours my dear."

1. She Will Be Loved (acoustic) - Maroon 5 (441 times played)

My Take: This is my senti song. This is the song I want playing when I actually do something romantic that doesn't blow up in my face. Haha. The original version is one of the best songs ever too. It's just that the acoustic version is so much more passionate.

Favorite Lyric: "I don't mind spending everyday, out on your corner in the pouring rain. Look for the girl with the broken smile, ask her if she wants to stay a while."

COMICBOOKS COST A LOT

If you pay close attention to this site, talking to the five people that actually know this place exists, you can see that I have a list down there called my "pull list." That, dear readers, is comicbook slang for the titles you regularly purchase. To the uninitiated, that already might seem like a long list. Trust me, folks, it isn't. It's a pretty short list. However, that does not mean that I ain't spending a lot. I am. I get by. I save most of my allowance, I make baon, I try not to eat as much when I'm out of the house, yeah I get by. There times though, that even when I do get to save, it's still not enough.

For the next three months? Yeah, it's going to be rough. April, May and June all see longer than usuall pulls. There are two issues of Green Lantern in April plus the two issues of Amazing Spider-Man that I want to get. May has Dark Reign: Young Avengers and the Spider-Man: The Short Halloween one-shot. And June, don't get me started about June. The Uncanny X-Men/Dark Avengers crossover, the Captain Britain annual and Captain America 600? Dag nab it. I need some extra dough.

That's all. Just wanted to rant. Haha.

And while we're on the subject of things from the past that I want to bring to the present...

"Who do you want standing next to you when you're dreams come true?"

And

"I mean to say..."

Hmm, if I ever get to pull off actually saying those lines to a real woman (I was going to say person when I remembered, no, I only say those things to a woman), I will gleefully meta-comment on it and then proceed right back into the situation. Why? Because if I do get to pull it off, that will give me a win. A win? Yes, a win. A win for me. Over everyone. Haha.

(Still hoping that dream girl says, "Avengers Assemble")

(Actually, this deserves its own post. But what the hell. We're here already.)

Moments where I officially win over everyone:

1. The aforementioned moments up there.
2. My dream girl shouting Avengers Assemble
3. The trailer for the Avengers movie doing one, some or all of these things:

a.) A mechanical voice, monlogoue-ing about destroying Slovenia and remaking the world in his image, capturing the Earth's protectors and punctuating this by maniacally cackling...followed by a crash, like a wall has just come down and this line: "Ultron, we would have words with thee."
b.) "Avengers!!!!....." (The trailer only teases Avengers Assemble so that fanboys get REALLY excited for the movie.)
c.) Just the familiar Avengers 'A' as the last shot of the trailer
d.) Jensen Ackles as Hawkeye

4. Optimus Prime dies in movie 2 and Unicron is hinted at. Then in 3 we get The Matrix, "Light Our Darkest Hour" and The Touch. (MAKE THIS HAPPEN MICHAEL BAY!!!)
5. The cast of Friday Night Lights and/or Battlestar Galactica visiting the Philippines.
6. Any instance where I can use my favorite 100%-Jeri made line: "I'm the hero of this story..."

For now, that's it. Haha. I have to go back to studying now.

Surprise

I tried looking for this, if I had written about it na. Guess that was the old blog.

"There's love. There's hope. For some. There's hope that you will find something worthy. That your life will lead you to some joy. That after everything, you can still be surprised."

I am hopeful. Again. This could be joyful. I hope I am surprised.

Jeri Favis, doing what Jeri Favis does best. Ha.

Battlestar Galactica

Frak me.

First hour = AWESOME

Second hour = Not so awesome

The final battle was EPIC. The assault on the Cylon base. HOT DOG! Baltar and Six. ADAMA IN THE C-I-C!!! Cavil is rotten piece o'crap but he was pretty cool here.

And I just have to say, HOT DOG is the last pilot standing. Narcho, Racetrack, Skulls, Chuckles, Red Wing, Kat, Anders, Seelix, all of them combined can take on the awesomeness that is HOT DOG.

But damn they sure dropped the ball during the last hour. I know you need closure and all but really, the ending was a disappointment in my opinion. They gave rise to our civilization? Okay I can buy that but sending all the ships into the sun? Not so smart there. And I wonder where the free Centurions went. The Helo, Athena and Hera ending was great but then I hated Lee's.

Glad to see they didn't forget about Romo. And HOSHI!!! Admiral for half a day!

Battlestar Galactica. Possibly the greatest show on TV ever. Thank you to everyone involved with the show. Thank you to the fans who kept the show going. Battlestar Galactica, you shall be missed.

So say we all.

Wow.

Sam the demon-blood drinker?

Epic.

Also, I have found my new TV show. Castle. Nathan Fillion rocks.

2. Detonator
3. Hornet
4. Sky Knight
5. Gattling Guard (that suit was down right sick yo)

Movies which are called sequels to decent movies but are only related to the first movie in name only. Also, these sequles are pretty much horrible movies to begin with.

1. Tremors 3 (What an abomination.)
2. Relic 2 (Had nothing to do with the Awesomeness of Tom Sizemore's movie number 1.)
3. Casper Meets Wendy (It gave us Hilary Duff though...)
4. Jason X
5. Cruel Intentions 2 AND 3, Wild Things 2 and 3 (Just terrible. They spat on all the goodwill the original movies made.)

And I'm spent. Must study now!

Just a little bit more...

JFav is making a come back. Booyah.

Must build my stamina though. Haha. But the shooting is there (game-time at least), the defense is as solid as ever and the savvy, the veteran savvy, well, you can't get rid of that. ;)

I think I'll always be a baller. And I'll always regret not sticking with it. Oh well.

Huwhat Huway?

Spectacular!

How do you follow up BSG? With Spidey! (Two episodes worth of Spidey in fact.)

"Hmm Hmm Hhmm Spider-Man, Hmm Hmm Hhmm Spider-Man.....What? It's catchy." HAHA!

Liz is a pretty cool girlfriend actually.

Dang it this Shocker is already way better than the 616 and Ultimate versions combined.

(End of Accomplices)

And wow, Peter's got worse women problems than I do!

Peter's got Gwen, Liz, Sally, Betty, Felicia and MJ on this show. WOW. I want what he's got.

And Convo, if you're reading this, you have to get on this show NOW. It's pretty amazing. Heh.

WAIT WAIT WAIT (This is kinda a live blog, I'm posting as the show goes) HOLD THE PHONE AND STOP THE PRESSES JONAH!

FLASH THOMPSON III!!!!!! YOU ARE THE MAN!

Sha Shan: Flash stop, you don't have to be afraid to open your mouth around me. I like you for who you are. An honest guy who stands up for what's right.
Flash: Then dance with me. Coz honestly, I can't think of anything I'd rather do.

BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!!!!! FLASH IS THE MAN!

Man that fight scene was intense. Not as cool as the fight with Sandman a few weeks ago, but this was pretty gosh darn cool. The last bit with Tombstone and Spidery? I literally cringed when Tomby landed those hits.

Ouch with Mark and Peter after the fight.

And daaaamn. GG is back. And I ain't talkin' bout Gossip Girl. (...Okay, that was lame. :| ) That last scene with Green Goblin cackling? Chills.

(End of Gangland)

Previously on Battlestar Galactica

Two hours left.

This is frakkin' it.

I CANNOT WAIT.

Basketball

Yesterday afternoon, Mel and I shot some hoops in Bel-Air. I have to say Mel, you've got game. Haha. I think you eventually matched my 3-point FG output. Haha. It's straight, that's great for a beginner so don't be disappointed.

My shot suffered from fatigue though. Which sucks. I was okay in the beginning but then my shots started coming up short by the end of it. Have to fix that. If I can't hit my shots from the outside, I won't have as much leeway to penetrate. Which we all know, I can't do all that well. If they stick to me, I can jab and ball-fake to get a little daylight and that's all I need. But then they have to stick close to me. Which means I need to be a credible outside threat. The cycle continues. Eventually, I hope to figure out how to play more like Ryan Buenafe and LeBron James (No, Convo, Enzo, guys, stop laughing. I'm being serious). They use their bulk to their advantage and I gotta figure that out. I'm an above-average passer with above-average vision. I can make this work.

Defensively, I think I have to try some unorthodox stuff if I ever get stuck with a coach who wants to play man-to-man D. I ain't that fast. But if I can deny you the ball, mess with your rhythm, I can be effective. In a 2-3 zone though, I ain't got no problems.

Basketball, the first love of my life. It really puts me at ease, shooting and driving and just having fun. The game makes real life seem so far away. Say what you want about it, but there has been no better motto for anything than "I love this game."

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

If the initial spoilers are true, this movie can make up for the abomination that is X-Men 3.

Too Late

Hey man, what's going down? Haha. Yeah, I turned black since you've been gone...yes Kelly Clarkson. Haha. Musta na? Have you met Gandhi na? Tama ba spelling ko? Haha. May white shores at green countryside ba? Or grey ba talaga? Do you see Gandalf? Haha.

Actually, I gotta say something, it's been sitting on my chest for so long and ngayon ko lang talagang narealize na pwede ko nang sabihin sa'yo. Here goes...

Sorry pare. I am so sorry. I am so sorry that I wasn't a better friend when you were here. You and me, we were buds. We were partners for so many things back in high school. All the stuff we crammed? That was all you though, you were freakin' amazing. And there were so many times back then...I blew you off. I didn't want anything to do with you. And I'm ashamed of that. That's why I was there all the time bro. I tried making it up to you. It was too late, and I just wanted to try and fix it. And I'm sorry it came too late. I'm sorry man. I remember, my birthday in '07, you were the first A-Boy I saw that day. You kept me company in the morning and you were a great friend. I was a terrible friend. I just hope you know that I regret all of that. All of my shit. I hope you know. I hope you know that I loved...that I love you. I love you very much. And I'm glad that you, you brought us together again. You saved 4A. You helped heal us. You healed me. And that makes you a hero. A real bona fide hero. You hear that? You're my hero. And I hope you know that.

So, yeah, senti. Haha. Sooooo damn senti. What can I do though, ikaw eh, freakin' fag. Haha. I gotta go now. Hope you're doing okay over there mellon. We miss you down here.

Dear God II

Dear God,

It's me again, Jeri Favis. Hi. Sorry to bother You but I'd just like to ask, and I'm just asking here, don't smite me, but can we please not have a repeat of what happened before? You can read my mind right? Yeah, THAT thing. Please? I would like to go through life without worrying about another one of those. I mean, once was enough. Right? That was just a terrible time and I'm done with that. I am so done. It may or may not have been a good thing and made me a better person but that's not the point. I really really really really really really really really wish that I don't ever go through that crap again. I would not survive. Swear to You, I'd probably off myself right then and there if it ever happens again. You wouldn't want that right? Right? Okay, that's all. Keep up the good work big guy. I'm a fan of Yours, honest. Thanks.

P.S.

Can we get this in writing? How would that work?

Wisdom

"Why would I even bother with such a cause? 'Tis madness. 'Tis folly. 'Tis...hopeless. Before me stands reasons so compelling that my mind has stopped dreaming. Shackle my hands for I shan't be able to prevent them from relieving me of this mortal coil if I cannot be appeased. Treacherous emotion, have I not suffered enough for a thousand lifetimes?...And yet, my heart does not stop feeling. Forsake thy unquestionable logic! The truth does not set me free. For if all I do does not matter, then what does matter...is what I do...now. And with this, this new vigor and resolve, my heart beats madly and in tune with newly conjured thoughts of chivalry and romance and love once again. 'Tis not befitting of a man to give up, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. Thy sweet, alluring, dazzling, marvelous, radiant, Crush Number 2..I will not falter, I will not fail. Fair maiden, may my hands find the warmth of yours and let my heart's desires be obtained."

Yup. I just quoted myself. Haha.

THIS IS STILL HOW I ROLL.

Again

I miss high school.

Hip hip 4A!

MOVIES!

This was supposed to be a retroactive look back on these movies. Like, what could have been running through my mind when I was watching these movies? Instead, you're getting something else. Or maybe it's still what I intended it to be. Basta, insights. Haha.

(Kinda stole the idea from the guys over at the ISS. Keep up the good work fellas! And please don't kill me when you take over the world.)

Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Ring

Wait, he's going to kill ALL of those orcs? BY HIMSELF?! Oh he's so going to die. Gandalf should've been here to save his ass. And what the hell are Sam and Frodo going to do now? Not to mention Merry and Pippin. And that's John Rhys-Davies??? I liked him better on Sliders. (I didn't read the book prior to seeing the film.)

Lord of the Rings The Two Towers
Wait, they're going to charge out on their horses and what, hope for the best? Hope that they suddenly turn tail at the sight of galloping horses? Really? And wait, so if Gimli blows the horn -- um, sounds, the horn of Helm Hammerhand and that's their signal to go riding off, what happens to Gimli then? O.o Didn't they just essentially leave him behind??

Lord of the Rings The Return of the King
WHERE ARE IMRAHIL THE PRINCE OF DOL AMROTH AND THE TWINS, ELLADAN AND ELROHIR ELROND'S KIDS?? WHERE IS GHAN-BURI-GHAN????!!!!!

30 Days of Night
Where's Spider-Man when you need him? (Seriously, I really just wanted somebody to kick those damn fang-faces in. They were the most annoying vampires EVER. I can't explain it, but they irked me to no end.)

Blade 2
IT'S SNAKE EYES!!!! (The battle at Blade's base)

One Missed Call
Never saw it but wouldn't a more appropriate title for that movie be "The Ring...Tone?" Who's with me?

He-Man and The Masters of the Universe
Dolph Lungren is definitely NOT a poor man's Arnold. He's the homeless man's Michael Dudikoff. AMERICAN NINJA FTW!!!

The Italian Job
Charlize Theron is soooooo hot. (Where is The Brazilian Job (the sequel)??)

Daredevil
Who the hell is this freak playing Bullseye? Man he's creepy. And Jennifer Garner has her own TV show? Her own primetime TV show??
Oh and: How can you see into my eyes like open doors? Leading you down into my core where I've become so numb. Without a sould, my spirit sleeping cold, until you find it there and lead it back home...WAKE ME UP!

Oh yeah. Evanescence. 'Nuff said.

Honestly though, that whole soundtrack kicked so much ass.

The Notebook
Hey it's the guy from Remember The Titans! Also, old people sex. PAINT AN R-RATED PICTURE IN YOUR MIND! OF OLD PEOPLE!

Black Hawk Down
Wait, Orlando Bloom gets paralyzed half an hour into the film? For shame. At least Eric Bana and Tom Sizemore kicked some ass. Also, it's Draco Malfoy's dad!!!

Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone
Damn little kids.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Damn little kids.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Damn little...hey, wait a sec. Hermione is pretty hot. Hmmm...

Executive Decision
Early Halle Berry + Early John Leguizamo + Prime Kurt Russell - Steven Segal = One of my favorite movies ever.

Mission Impossible
COACH BOMBAY DIES IN SUCH A HORRIBLE AND GRUESOME MANNER??

Lost in Space
Matt LeBlanc is the hero of this story! That is so bad ass. And is that Dewey from Malcom in the Middle as Will Robinson? And somehow, I love Gary Oldman in this movie.

Ocean's 11/12/13
How do I join? :(

Land Before Time
Sharptooth! Littlefoot! The Great Valley! (I'm saying this all using my baby dinosaur voice. Go figure.)

Jurassic Park
YAY JASON CAME TO SAVE THE DAY! (The last part, the raptors have got Alan and the rest cornered when suddenly the T-Rex swoops in to get his fill of raptor meat allowing them to escape. I was going nuts. The Power Rangers connection made that moment amazing to this 7-year old.)

Land of the Dead
WHY ARE THEY LETTING THEM LIVE???? CAP THE SUCKERS!!!

Iron Man
Honestly, I was on cloud 9 during the whole movie. S.H.I.E.L.D. Downey's performance. The Jericho. The Mandarin references. J.A.R.V.I.S. Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. "The Avengers Initiative." If only they could take the movie's essence and distribute it to everyone one all over the world, we'd all be better off.

Tropic Thunder
RDJ shoulda won an Oscar or something. EVERYTHING HE SAYS IN THE MOVIE IS PURE GOLD.

Star Trek: First Contact
How I wish they were able to go with the original plan for the starship battle with the Borg. Damn it.

There's Something About Mary
You know, back then, I didn't realize how painful what happened to Ben Stiller's character could be. Now that I'm older, HOLY SH*T. That's gotta hurt.

Bambi
BAMBI'S A GUY DEER??

Hercules
A lot of people know this already but for those who don't, Herc's voice was provided by the Marissa Cooper's dad on The OC. I really like Tate Donovan's performance. I've made you smarter just now.

I will have more next time. For now, I am spent. Haha.

Hey, what if I became a member of the Ateneo Blue Eagles?

Day 1:

Getting the news today. I do not know what I'm going to do if I don't get in. Wait, it just came to me, I'M KILLING EVERYBODY IN SCHOOL.

Kidding. I think.

(8 Hours later)

I'M IN I'M IN I'M IN I'M IN

(Surprisingly, that was pretty hard to type.)

Day 6:

I HATE BEING A BLUE EAGLE.

Day 7:

I think my legs need to be amputated. At any rate, I don't think I'll be needing them, I don't feel them anymore. My stomach is killing me. Literally. I need to lose weight. Fast.

Day 13:

Coach said I need to be able to penetrate better. That's not what she said. Heh.

Day 17:

SCHOOL! GIRLS LOOK AT ME I AM A BASKETBALL PLAYER!

Seriously considered doing that for a sec.

Day 20:

School sucks. No one knows I'm a Blue Eagle yet. My teammates, the ones who were on the team before tell me people'll find out eventually. To those people I say HURRY UP.

Day 28:

Varsity + School = DEATH.

Day 33:

UAAP season in two weeks! Yippee!!!!!!!!!! We play FEU on opening day. I hope I get to play.

Day 35:

We had the team dinner last night with all the supporters and family and coaches and players. Papa talked to a lot of people. Lotsa of people are impressed that a Favis is back on the squad. Pretty cool. Food sucked though. I think there was a girl in there that was checking me out! Oh wait no, that was a boy. Damn it.

Day 42:

Sprained. Ankle. BUMMER. Coach said I would've been able to play. ARGH!

Day 44:

Haven't been able to practice. Stupid ankle. Coach talks to himself sometimes. It's funny. Also sometimes. He's usually thinking out loud. I wonder if I could get him to do an interview for my blog?

Day 48:

1-0!!!!!!!!! CHECK US OUT!

Day 53:

I HAVE FANS! OH MY GOD I HAVE FANS!!!!!! Granted, they don't know how to spell my name yet and I haven't seen anyone with my jersey on but hey, they look at me now in school. I feel all tingly and special inside.

Day 59:

1-1. I hate Adamson. Still no burn. I've been ready for about a week now. I'm the only one who hasn't gotten any playing time yet. Maybe I can write a book about being a benchwarmer? Maybe Molly Sims becomes my wife now? (Just saying that in a movie with midgets, talking robots, Jon Lovitz and David Spade playing baseball, the fact that Molly Sims and Rob Schneider played a happily married, trying to get pregnant, thus-makes-you-think-about-the-two-of-them-fornicating copule was the most ridiculous part of the movie. Nothing against Rob Schneider though. Just saying.)

Day 65:

I just failed a long test. DON'T YOU REALIZE THAT I'M A BASKETBALL PLAYER!

Day 68:

Good day at practice today. Scored a couple of three's. Had a nice thread-the-needle assist. Things are looking up.

Day 69:

BROKE ANKLE OUT FOR THE YEAR COMIC PRICES JUMP TO $7.99 FOR 32 PAGES METEOR ABOUT TO STRIKE THE -- Whoa. Nightmare. Yikes.

Day 70:

BURN! I GOT SOME BURN! And I think I heard cheers when I entered. Played 2 minutes and had an assist and a rebound. YEEEEESSSSS!!!!!

Oh, we won.

Day 73:

People have been telling me that they say me on TV. I just smiled and said 'thanks.' Inside though, I was jumping up and down like I just won the lotto. Huzzah.

Day 76:

MORE BURN! I could get used to this. Actually put up a shot attempt today. It missed but it was straight. Had 2 rebounds this time. Turned the ball over though. Heard a lot of boos after that. Papa and Mama know a lot of people now.

Day 82:

EHEM. GAME-WINNER!!!!!! --- Dream. Damn it!

Day 89:

Classmates have been joshing me. Thanks a lot guys. Enzo, I am really that good. Haha!

Day 90:

WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!!!

6-3-5, two triples, no turnovers, 25 minutes of burn.

IT'S FANTASTIC!!!!

Day 91:

I HAVE REAL FANS NOW! GIRLS LOOK AT ME!!!!!!

(To be continued)

(Hey, this was fun. haha.)

Belief

For the life of me, I will never understand why I do these things. Months, hell, minutes after I make my decision, I regret it. It's a pattern that I've been trapped in for so long. How come I can't get it through my head that IT WILL NEVER WORK. I will always fail. I will always...

Heh. Can't do it.

I'll always believe.

I will always believe that ain't over 'til the fat lady sings.

Oh this is so not funny. This isn't a joke. I am never going to stop. That's a promise.

Clarity

The heart wants what the heart wants. You can't stop it, so don't try. Again, in the end, all you got, is you.

Magic

Give them the magic. They deserve it.
