This is my attempt at defying the fantasy basketball gods. Reverse-jinxing their hoodoo.
Because right now, I honestly do not believe my fantasy team is going to win me a 'chip. Yes, right now, is just over a week until the first round of the fantasy head-to-head playoffs.
It's like that.
Sure, Al Jefferson is playing out of his mind, Greg Monroe is beastin' and Beno is balling muy bien you know?
But Captain Jack is hurt and out indefinitely and his backcourt mate D.J. Augustin has been in a slump since December. Lamar Odom, Andray Blatche and Steph Curry have all been inconsistent as of late. Relying on big games from Serge Ibaka and Tony Allen is a HUGE risk and Andrea Bargnani an even huger one.
It just doesn't make me feel too excited about my chances when the real games are played.
Oh bother.
